Or at least, the grandkids. This weekend, I got crafty! Check out these adorable treat bags I whipped up for the grandkids.
I love these! They turned out so much better than I thought they would. I’ve had the designs for a while now, but this was the first time I really had a chance to use them.
And the best part is, most of my depression seems to have magically disappeared last week. It’s been replaced by a huge dose of Christmas spirit, which I’m sure will drive Chris insane. LOL But it’s so much better than being in the dumps all the time. The crafty time was a huge help.
Now I have tons of ideas for Christmas gifts and all sorts of crafting for the holidays. Tea towels, hand towels, banners, pillow covers … the list is practically endless.
Weekend Plans – Crafty Edition
If you haven’t guessed by now, my weekend plans for the next few weeks involve mostly sewing. And embroidery, And quilting. And tons of crafty goodness. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders, and I’m ready to do things again.
I wanted to do some sewing tonight, but I didn’t sleep well last night. Add to that, my daughter stopped by, and nothing much got done in the studio. However, I have made some firm plans on things to get done this week. First up, free motion quilting (FMQ) practice.
